Rick B. came in with a tiny white feather and an incredible story. His wife's mother had recently passed. Before her death, she had told her daughter that she would send her a white feather to comfort her. The feather, with its uplifting message, floated to them during the funeral.
Wanting to create an enduring keepsake for his wife, Rick came to us in search of a custom designer to make the piece in his imagination a reality. Rick specified a few details that he wanted to be symbolized in the finished piece and David rendered a design that fulfilled his every wish.
The pendant was completed well in time for Christmas and Rick was very pleased with the fulfillment of his idea. There was not a dry eye when he presented this most sentimental remembrance to his wife. She is delighted with the personal elements of the design and can wear her pendant day & night with no worry about durability.

David is the main jewelry expert & appraiser for Cordier Antiques. He assists at the Spring & Fall auctions, as well.
In June 2009, David and Anne went on vacation in the south west. The trip included visits to the Grand Canyon and an opal mine, from which they brought back several treasures. David has cut & polished a couple of the black opals taken right from the mine in Nevada. They are in the second case along with a collection of non-gem opal specimens.
As the industry’s charity, Jewelers for Children (JFC) is generously supported by those who create and sell fine jewelry and watches. Henderson & Co. has been contributing to this worthy cause since its inception ten years ago. Manufacturers, retail jewelers, trade associations, watch companies and those who provide professional services to the jewelry industry unite on behalf of children.
Jewelers for Children is currently accepting donations to help the children affected by the earthquakes in Haiti.
